Mystery Monday @ Myra's
Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving!
I hope that you all had a chance to find some fabrics for our little mystery project. And I am very impressed that another Myra, even made a little logo for this adventure on her site. You can find it here at http://myras-tactilepleasuresinfabric.blogspot.com/.
Today, I will give you the instruction on how to cut up the fabric, and next time, I will tell you how to sew it all back together.
Cutting Instructions for
Criss-Cross Apple-Sauce
From your background fabric cut:
4 - 5" x 5" squares
3 - 2" x width of fabric, strip
From your border print fabric cut:
1 - 3 1/2" x width of fabric, strip
4 - 2" x 20" strips
12 - 2" x 2" squares
4 - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" squares. Cut across each square diagonally once, to yield a total of 8 triangles.
From your tone-on-tone print cut:
3 - 2" x width of fabric, strips
12 - 2" x 2" squares
4 - 2 3/4' x 2 3/4" squares. Cut across each square diagonally once, to yield a total of 8 triangles.
From your second one tone-on-tone print cut:
1 - 2" x width of fabric, strip
8 - 2" x 3 1/2" pieces
I do believe that is everything that we need to cut into pieces. I will see you next Monday, when you learn how to put it back together.
See you then.
