Day 42 - of 100 Days of Quilts

Lone Star - Traditional Quilts to Paper Piece

Today I picked another small, but sunny tablerunner. It was a project in our third book, and it has been hidden away for a while. It has been fun pulling out past projects, and seeing them again. This little runner has lots of little pieces. Each of the stars is paper pieced, in 8 sections! But if you persevere through the work, you will have a great project when you are done.

If you look the project up in the book, it is shown in another colorway of red, white, and blue. So it would make a great little quilt for a 4th of July B.B.Q....and if you start now, you just might get it done in time.
See you tomorrow.
